Our Sheep

Coolmunda now has dorpers roaming the grove.

The concept of animals on the property coincides with our ‘clean culture’ and sustainability beliefs.

The Geeps (since they are a lot like goats) wander the grove doing a lot of our whipper snipping, pruning and give us natural organic fertiliser as they go.

The Dorper is a South African breed of domestic sheep created for arid regions. This breed has high fertility and maternal instinct and has the characteristic black head.
